Tenor from Kosova triumphs in Placido Domingo’s ”Operalia” in Mexico

Many times Kosova was described as a hotbed for pop-artists, but our talented youth is not limited just to pop.
Meet Rame Lahaj, a tenor from Kosova, who was awarded in the world’s largest operatic contest- Placido Domingo’s ”Operalia” in Mexico.
Just recently, Rame was invited by Maestro Domingo himself to perform at the inauguration ceremony of the Guadalajara University concert hall in Mexico, bearing Maestro’s name.
Rame was born and raised in Kosova in a nonmusical family. His hometown did not even have a single music school. With his dedication, love, and strong stamina he managed to live his dream and perform with the world’s most prestigious opera singers and performers.
This is just another testament of Kosova’s talented youth that will strive no matter the hardships on their way. (Source: Embassy of Kosova in Washington DC)
